The Dino Hunter Mission Playset was initially released in 1993 by Hasbro as a Toys 'R Us exclusive, and featured repaints of Ambush v1 and Low-Light v3, in addition to a PVC dinosaur and a repainted Desert Fox vehicle. Towards the end of its run, Hasbro began "borrowing" ideas from a lot of other successful action figure lines to keep the G.I. Joe brand both relevant and topical, and some feel it hurt the line more than helped it. Jurassic Park was wildly popular at the time, and if ever there was a wagon-jumping franchise, the late days of the original G.I. Joe line was it.
Being neither of these figures were offered as modern sculpts (and there's STILL Jurassic Park toys on the shelves in this scale in the year 2020), I felt both of them needed an update.

Spitfire (Tele-Viper Commander)
From time to time, you might see a familiar face turn up in my Multiverse. I had conceptualized this figure some time ago, but it took a while to actually give him a bio and backstory. Tele-Viper Commander seemed like the obvious choice for this one.
Formula:
Head: WWE Jakks Build 'N Brawl CM Punk
Body: Snake-Eyes v43
Vest: Tele-Viper v6
Decals: Bad Mother Tattoos and Customs
Everything else: Marauder Task Force
Paints used: Citadel, Model Master
Thanks for looking.

Hat Trick LeMonde (The Corps!)
Sometimes, I see a character so ridiculous in terms of design, I look at it and think "What would a modern version of that look like?" And therein lies the challenge for me. For those not aware, Hat Trick LeMonde was a member of The Corps!, Lanard's economical answer to Hasbro's G.I. Joe line. The hardest part of this one was modding the skates from the original to fit my version (they weren't removable the first time around). Visually, this character struck me as absurdist in construction, in terms of his original look at least, but I think I pulled off his modern counterpart rather nicely.
Formula:
Head: Budo v3
Laser rifle and removable skates: Hat Trick LeMonde v1
Everything else: Marauder Task Force
Paints used: Citadel, Model Master
Thanks for looking.

Rock 'N Roll (IDW)
Back in 1982, Rock 'N Roll was my first G.I. Joe figure. I think at one point, I may have had 4 versions of his v1 release as a kid. Now while Hasbro has released about 3 modern versions of him, I felt none of them really did the character justice. His appearance here is loosely based on his look in the IDW comics by Aubrey Sitterson from 2017.
Formula:
Head: MCU Thor
Arms and upper legs: Specialist Dusty v1
Torso, lower legs, belt holster: General Clayton "Hawk" Abernathy v4
Ammo bandoliers: Ssgt. Rock 'N Roll v1
Machine gun: Rock 'N Roll v1
Tattoo sleeves: Bad Mother Tattoos and Customs
Paints used: Citadel, Model Master
Thanks for looking.

Tracker
Tracker was originally released by Hasbro in 1991, and sadly, that was the only release he ever got. They did wind up reusing his mold again in 2004, albeit as Action Man for a Night Force set. I thought he was an interesting looking enough character that he warranted a modern version, and was quite surprised Hasbro failed to include him in either the FSS or Convention sets when they were still going.
Formula:
Head: RaginSpoon cast of SDCC Action Man. Everything is cyclical.
Upper arms: Specialist Dusty v1
Upper body, lower arms, submachine gun: General Hawk v6
Legs: Storm Shadow v26 (I think)
Feet: Storm Shadow v33
Harness: Steeler v4
Visor, oars and raft: Tracker v1
Knife: Fodder bag
Shirt decals and tattoo: Bad Mother Tattoos and Customs
Paints used: Citadel, Model Master
Thanks for looking.

Tiger Force Recondo
While I'm aware that we got a modern Tiger Force figure of Recondo from Hasbro, and while I thought it was cool they decided to release him in the colors of the original prototype, for some reason, I always preferred the color scheme they decided to go with back in 1988 instead. And as far as tiger stripes? Well, camouflage is actually easier to paint.
Formula:
Entire figure, hat, holster, backpack, rifle: Recondo v6
Stand and axe: Recondo v7
Paints used: Citadel, Model Master
Thanks for looking.
