Tripphammer (Shadowrun)

I wasn't a Dungeons and Dragons geek in high school. Nope, I was a Shadowrun geek. If you aren't familiar with Shadowrun, it's basically a tabletop RPG set in the not too distant future (the timeline of events leading up to current day starts around 2020 in the mythos, oddly enough), where MegaCorps rule everything, technology is a necessity, and magic has come back to the waking world. Basically, D&D with guns and tech and magic. Tripphammer is an original creation, although I've never played this type of character in particular. I'll come up with a fun back story for him soon I'm sure. Finding a body type for a dwarf, plus gear and accessories required a lot of brainstorming, in addition to customization. Overall, I'm quite happy with how he turned out, and I'm probably going to give him some goggles to finish him up at some point. Face tattoo applied with a Micron .005 pen.

Formula:

Head: Duck Dynasty figure (who cares which one)

Body: Marvel Universe Puck

Hands: GI Joe Storm Shadow (I forget which one)

Vest: GI Joe Scrap-Iron (trimmed down to fit torso)

Cyberclaw: Trimmed down GI Joe ninja weapon

Pauldron: Fortnite Ragnarok

Rifle: Fodder bin

Tracker and boot pouches: Marauder Task Force

Cyberdeck: Playmobil (modified with carry strap)

Drones: 3D printed

Paints used: Citadel, Model Master

Thanks for looking.

The Fridge

Back in 1987, Hasbro ran a promotion in which if you collected and mailed in 5 inserts, you could get a free (plus shipping and handling, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery, ask your parents) William "The Refrigerator" Perry action figure. This was Hasbro's second attempt at a G.I. Joe figure based on a real person, the first being professional wrestler Sgt. Slaughter back in 1986. Unlike Slaughter, The Fridge didn't become a part of G.I. Joe lore or continuity in the animated series or comics, but it may have been interesting to see. Possibly for legal reasons, The color of Fridge's jersey was slightly altered from his Chicago Bears colors to a paler blue with red highlights, I've corrected that here. I've also added a fully functional flail for him, as opposed to Hasbro's original football on a stick.

Formula:

Head and Torso: Custom cast from TheAngelForge
Arms: Marvel Universe Ares
Legs: Marvel Universe Cable, hip pads sculpted with Green Stuff
Football Flail: Custom cast from AVAC'S LAB, modded with parts from Boss Fight Studios
Helmet: Starting Lineup

Paints used: Citadel, Model Master.

Thanks for looking.

Special Mission Brazil II

The first Special Mission Brazil set was released back in 1986 as a Toys R Us exclusive. In 2011, Hasbro decided to revisit this set for their annual convention. However, being that particular set is far too expensive to even consider purchasing now, I found it easier and more cost effective to make my own, while sticking closer to the original 1986 color schemes as opposed to the 2011 ones. And since Hasbro decided to gender-bend Dial-Tone for the Rise of Cobra film and all related media, I had a little fun and used that version for this set. The Leatherneck they released in the 25th series was pretty much exactly how he looked in the SMB set, so I didn't alter him at all, he could use a backpack though.

Formulas:

Captain Claymore:

Entire figure: ROC Footloose v4
Helmet: Accessory pack
Uzi: Fodder bin

Paints used: Citadel, Model Master

Wet-Suit:

Entire Figure: Marauder Task Force
Stand: AOCI Wet-Suit v10

Cliff Dagger (V.E.N.O.M.)

Since I already did the Jackhammer 2, it was only a matter of time before I did its driver, Cliff Dagger. I'm probably going to do a few more M.A.S.K. characters down the road, but I'm fairly certain I'm going to come up short on vehicles sadly.

Formula:

Head and Torch mask: Custom cast from TheAngelForge
Body and harness: Marauder Task Force
Jackhammer 2: Steel Crusher A.P.V. with custom decals from ToyHax

Paints used: Citadel, Model Master, Americana DecoArt

Thanks for looking.

Kraken (Action Force)

The Kraken was initially released in the UK Action Force line by Palitoy in 1984, and to date, has never had a modern update by Hasbro. I suppose the closest counterpart he would have had in the original RAH G.I. Joe line would have been the Hydro-Viper from 1988. Since I've been building up a Red Shadows team for my Multiverse, I thought this was a necessary addition.

Formula:

Head: Unknown, donated by Swizzlesticks Customs
Body, Trident, Stand: Boss Fight Studios
Vest, leg knife: Marauder Task Force
Net: Croc Master v4
Red Shadows decal: Bad Mother Tattoos and Customs

Paints used: Citadel, Model Masters.

Thanks for looking.

Red Miller (Mandy)

Why are there no Nicolas Cage action figures????

You'd think with all the movies he's done, he'd have more than just that one silly Ghost Rider figure from over a decade ago. And if you haven't seen 2018's Mandy by Panos Cosmatos yet, you're really missing out. A friend of mine described it to me as a Frank Frazetta painting on LSD, and it's not far from the truth at all. At any rate, I felt the need to pay tribute to the awesomeness that is his character from this movie in action figure form.

Formula:

Head: Star Wars AOTC Count Dooku
Upper Body and arms: Bazooka v4 (modified)
Legs and axe: Marauder Task Force
Chainsaw: Buzzer v4
Vest: Jurassic Park prototype
Bandolier: Snake-Eyes v46
Crossbow: Zartan v21
44 Decal: Bad Mother Tattoos and Customs

Paints used: Citadel, Model Master

Thanks for looking.
